little box 三、Teaching process 1.

Lead-in ⑴ Greeting and free talk Practice the dialogue with the students of “What’s your name? How old are you? How are you? Nice to meet you. etc”

这一环节通过师生自由交流,让学生充分练习以前学习过的基本对话。也为以后学生开口交流打下一定基础。

⑵ Sing the song of “Mystery box”

Watch the video and sing the song together. 歌曲环节可以进一步调动学生的兴趣活跃氛围,同时抛出问题:“What’s inside the mystery box?”引出一下了环节。

⑶ A trick Do a trick and make the students to guess “What’s inside the mystery box?”It can help them to review the words. 这个小游戏环节中,可以帮助学生充分的复习已经学过或者一会的单词,鼓励学生大胆发言。同时通过do a trick让学生感知trick的含义。并引出今天的主题“A good trick”

Storytelling The teacher tells the story vividly according to the courseware. (Picture 1)Look! Who is it?

It’s Biff. It’s Chip.

It was the Biff and Chip show. They were playing a trick.

Who watched the show?

Dad, Wilf, Floppy and Mum.

Who was not here?

Right. Kipper was not here. Where was Kipper?

What’s this?

It’s a rug.

“ We’re going to do a trick. Here’s a rug.”said Biff.

Chip pulled the rug off.

What’s under the rug? Is it a big table? (Picture 2) It’s a sheet.

“Here’s a sheet.”said Chip.

Biff pulled the sheet off.

What’s under the sheet? Is it a bed? Is it a bag? (Picture 3) It’s a big box.

Biff and Chip lifted the box up.

What’s under the big box? (Picture 4) It’s a little box.

What’s in the little box? I see something yellow. What is it? (Picture 5) It’s Kipper.

What a good trick! Everyone was happy. 这一部分主要是呈现故事内容。老师主图描绘。在描述的过程中加上了语气、表情和动作,可以帮助学生更好地理解故事内容。

Listening and imitating ⑴ Listen to the story 这个环节安排学生完整地听一遍故事。让学生整体感知人物说话的语

音语调。

⑵ Listen and imitate 这一遍让学生边听边跟读,提醒学生注意模仿故事中的语气语调。

⑶ Follow the teacher 4.

Reading dramatically ⑴ Personal reading 这个环节,出示幻灯片,老师让部分孩子朗读幻灯片呈现的内容。

⑵ Group work 将学生分为六个小组,每个小组六个人,每个人负责一幅图,进行朗读接龙。根据学生朗读情况给予表扬good or great 5.

Story comprehension ⑴ Retell the story 老师边讲卡片贴在黑板上,边和学生一起复述故事内容,帮助学生再一次加深印象。

⑵ Sing the story 老师把故事编成了很简单的一首歌,和学生一起唱。又一次加深了学生对故事的印象。

Role-play 学生表演故事,通过亲身参与让学生更好地感知故事,感受乐趣,增强对英语学习的兴趣。

7.

Homework ⑴ Listen to the story and read it skillfully and dramatically.

⑵ Act the story out with your Mun and Dad.
