Teaching aims: 1. Ss will be able to listen, say and read the words, “long”, “short”, “small”

and “big”. Ss will have a good understanding of their differences.

2. Ss are willing to use these words to talk about animals by using the sentence structures: It has a …. /It has …s. and so on.

3. Ss will be glad to do the part of “Let’s do”.

Teaching key and difficult points:

1. Ss are supposed to master these words and expressions to describe the animals in the zoo. 2. Students will enjoy the part of “Let’s do”.

Teaching procedure:

Step 1 Warm up 1. Greeting 2. Sing a song: At the zoo
