Step 1 Warm-up 1)

Greetings. 2)

Say the chant. 3)

Read the words: was - wasn’t

were - weren’t Step 2 Presentation 1）Play the radio at SB book Unit 2 activity 1, and ask the Ss to look at the book. 学习句子：--Was he strung then?

--Yes, he was.

2) Listen it again and read follow it.

3) Ss read the text together. Step 3 New lesson

Lead in and new words. Show some pictures of my hometown. It’s a small village. (讲授village, 出示单词卡片进行教读)

2）New sentences.

Look at the picture about Shenzhen.

--Is it a big city?

--Yes, it is.

Now look at another picture about Shenzhen.(展示出一张过去深圳的照片)

教学反思

四年级的学生对英语的基础知识已经掌握的比较牢固，英语学习兴趣也比较浓厚，对于过去式的认识在前面Module 4 就已经开始接触，所以Be 动词的时态变化在这堂课中并不陌生，根据课堂中的反应，Be动词过去式的否定形式Wasn’t 和

Weren’t 这两个词的读音大部分学生无法正确朗读，在课后还应多加强朗读训练。
