Students will be abble to review the numbers from 11-----20. Teaching difficulties：

Students can act the story out. Teaching procedures:

Step 1

warm up

review the numbers from 11-----20. Students say the numbers one by one.if anybody say the number with three ,six ,nine at the end.they should stand up and clap their hands instead.

Step 2

lead in

teacher lead the students to play a game to explain the word “race”.then tell them that

Zip and Zoom had a race ,too.do you want to know?

Step 3

Presentation

Teacher show the students a

teaching card and say:This is an apple,the race between Zip and Zoom is about picking apples.do you think who will win the race?why?then students read the story by themselves quickly.

Step 4

Consolidation

Teacher invite the students to answer the questions above：Zip win the race finaly.because Zoom eat the apples when he was picking.then turn on the radio,students read the story after the radio twice.next ,divide the students in pairs.one act Zoom,the other act Zip,try to act the story .

Step 5

Practice

Teacher invite some students to act the story out in front of the blackboard.if

some one do the best ,teacher will give them encouragement.

Step 6

Sammary

Read the story together. Homework:
