教材分析

A Lively City 是外研版必修一Module4 A Social Survey----My Neighborhood中的阅读课文。

这篇文章以对话的方式向人们展示了厦门市的地理位置，气候以及城市概况等。使学生了解厦门市的概况并掌握介绍某个城市的方法。

学情分析

我所教的班级大部分学生基础比较薄弱，词汇量小，英语阅读能力相对较差，学习不是很积极。另一方面，由于刚入高一，学生缺乏跳读，略读等阅读技巧，而且学生层次不一。因此，我设计阅读任务具有梯度性，尽量满足不同学生的需求。

Teaching procedures:

Step one: Warming up—The Game of city Guessing

Teacher describe the city of Xiamen sentence by sentence. Show the pictures and descriptions on PPT at the same time.

It is a beautiful, coastal city.

It lies in the southeast of Fujian province.

It is famous for Gulangyu Island.

Teacher: Which city is it?they

Students: Xiamen. （设计意图：以猜城市的游戏形式，调动学生的兴趣，并引出文章主题--厦门。）

Step two:Pre-Reading Task 1: showing pictures about Xiamen and some important words.

（设计意图：预习生词，为阅读扫清词汇障碍。）

Task 2: Prediction （设计意图：培养学生预测课文的能力，激发学生对要学文章的兴趣。）

教学反思

在整个教学过程中我利用了预测课文，略读，跳读等方法来培养学生的阅读能力，并通过让学生做四种不同的阅读理解题，帮学生了解高考阅读理解四种题型，并归纳这四种题型的做题方法，使学生掌握一定的阅读策略。同时，通过相应的练习来巩固理解文章的结构框架，结合学生的实际生活，创设情境使学生积极参加课堂活动，主动踊跃地发言，描述自己的家乡。整个教学过程比较流畅，教学效果明显。

本堂课学生能跟着教师的步伐，参与教学活动，但是，活动形式还是有点单一，主要更新采用了问答式。教师应该不断更新观念，积极运用各种手段调动学生合作学习，快乐学习，使学生的积极性得到发挥。并且，我自身也存在着一些问题，有很多不足之处和需要学习改进的地方，今后在时间安排上要尽量合理，教学设计的活动要尽量考虑学生的实际，做到立足学情，积极改进自己的不足之处，取得更大的进步。
