Warming-up Greeting students. Guessing Game：Describe a student or a teacher in your class. Ask students to guess who he/she is. Then lead in to the new lesson. Step 2

Presentation

1．The teacher shows some pictures and leads in to other new words: heavy, tall, thin, short…Then lead in to the new sentences：

—What does she look like? —She's really thin. She is of medium height.(注意be 动词的用法) 2．The teacher shows some pictures about hair and leads in to other new words: curly, straight…Then lead in to the new sentences：

—What does she look like? —She has long straight hair.(注意has的用法) …

3．Work on 1a. (1)Match the words with the people in the picture.

Use the letters to match the people in the picture with one of the numbered words. Write each letter next to a numbered word. You can use some letters more than once. (2)Point out the sample answer.
