1. Play a video and sing the English song “days of a week”, then ask and answer questions, then write down the days of week. 2. Say and write down subjects they have learned or more. Step 2. Let’s challenge yourself. 1.Ask one student to give an example with the teacher. 2.Student A describes the words about subjects and days of a week, students B guesses. Step 3.Competition. 1. Ask two students to choose the words about subjects and days of a week as fast as possible among all kinds of words. 2. Check the answers and choose the winner. Step 4. Let’s chant.

In this part, students practice the sentence patterns below by chanting. --When is the …… class? --It’s on ……

Step 5. Listening time. Play the tape for the students to listen and circle the classes David talked about in the time schedule. Then check the answers. 1. First listen and fill in the blanks. Then check the answers. 2. Read the short passage together. Step 6. Designing time. 1. Leave them enough time to design their own favorite time schedule. And ask one student to finish it on the blackboard, the others finish theirs on the paper. Then say something about their time schedules to all the students. 2. Then ask three students to show theirs on the screen and analyze them, then give a small red flag to encourage the students. Step 7. Acting time. 1. Ask the students to make conversations about subjects they like or don’t like in groups. 2. Then ask three groups of students to act out their conversations in front of the class. Step 8. Homework. Write a short passage about your favorite subject (color, food, singer, star…).
