The analysis of the teaching materials 本课时为教材Go For It七年级下册第10单元section B 部分第二课时阅读课，其核心话题是不同国家的生日饮食习俗。

二、学情分析

The analysis of the students 七年级五班的学生平时成绩在全年级处于中上水平，班级气氛比较活跃。有部分同学对英语学习很感兴趣，并且具有一定学习英语的能力及方法,所以理解本文，完成本文阅读任务对他们而言问题不大；但同时也有很大一部分同学是英语的学困生，而本课时阅读课型又是整个单元中较难模块，所以在设计本课时，我做了一系列降低学习难度的处理。如我将五班的学生分成了

组，每一组6人，分别都由优生和学困生组成，便于学困生在同组优生的帮助下完成本节课任务，能够学有所获；本课新单词和新短语较多，为了帮助学困生在课堂上更好的理解课文，我也针对本课做了学案，学生们可以根据学案进行预习，可降低在课堂上的学习难度，也可提高学生学习的兴趣。

三、教学目标
