2、能在理解课文的基础上讲述Anna一家是如何过中国新年的。

(三)情感目标: 1、能了解中国各地新年的风俗习惯和差异。

2、能通过学习,抒发爱国情怀,热爱传统文化,加深对我国传统文化的理解,并懂得:Of a nation, of the world。(民族的才是世界的)。

2 学情分析

作为六年级的学生对英语阅读课并不陌生,也掌握一定的词、句、段、章的知识积累和阅读能力。教师应侧重于具有针对性的阅读方法的指导、阅读能力的培养、语用意识的提高。

3 重点难点

【导入】Step1

Warm－up

1.Guessing game (1)T: It’s red and small. It’s made of paper. It’s a good wish for children. What is it? S1:It’s a red packet.

(2)T: Children like to light them. People use them to celebrate the holiday. They can make loud voice. What are they? S2: They are firecrackers. (3) T: They are colorful. They are in the sky. People like to watch them. What are they? S3: They are fireworks. 【设计意图】

通过句子来猜测物品,头脑风暴后引申到本课时内容。

2. Free talk T: Boys and girls, look at these three things. What holiday is it? Ss: It’s Spring Festival.或It’s Chinese New Year.

Ss: It’s in January or February. T: How about New Year’s Day?

Ss: It’s on the first of January.

帮助学生区分中国新年和元旦的时间。

T: What is the year of 2016 and 2017? Ss: 2016is the year of monkey. And 2017 is the year of rooster. 【设计意图】

通过中国新年的一系列问题来帮助学生回顾以前的知识并适当考察下学生的常识。

活动2 【讲授】Step2

Presentation

1. Ask and answer T: It’s going to be Chinese New Year. I’m very excited. I can’t wait for it. Here’s a girl. She can’t wait for it too. Her name is Anna. Do you have some questions about her. 预测学生问题

Ss: Who’s Anna? Where is she from? ... 【设计意图】

通过让学生自己问问题,然后进入引言部分寻找答案,激发学生的思维。

2.Think and guess T: What’s Anna going to do at Chinese New Year?

Ss:I think Anna is going to… Maybe she is going to …. Anna is going to…, I think.

【设计意图】PPT呈现句型: What is she going to do? She’s going to…并讲解be going to,初步了解这个句型的用法。

3.Look and order T: What’s Anna going to do at Chinese New Year?

Please take out the paper. Look at the picture and order it according to the pictures. I’ll choose one boy and one girl to write down the answer. We’ll check it later.

Picture2: T: What is Anna going to do at Chinese New Year? Ss: She is going to have dinner with her grandparents, her aunt and uncle and her cousin. Then, She’s going to buy some flowers.

T: We can use one word to call aunt, uncle and cousin. That is “relatives”

同法教授Picture3,4,5 由a lion dance拓展a dragon dance 引申香港是在哪里看烟花表演? 【设计意图】细讲第一幅图,帮助学生了解细节信息,学生小组讨论并细读后三幅图,了解细节,学生自己逐图讲述,在讲述过程中适时拓展,激发学生的发散性思维。

2.Watch and check 【设计意图】完整的看一遍动画,检测原先的排序是否正确。

3.Read and find 【设计意图】找出本篇故事是根据时间来排序,并找出故事中的时间关键词。
