Step 1: Warming up 1. Free talk T: What day is it today?

What day do you like best? Why? What are you going to do this weekend? Ss: I’m going to…

T: That’s cool/interesting/ I like your idea…

2. Guess T’s weekend plan

T: You have wonderful weekend plans. Me too. What am I going to do this weekend? Can you guess?

Teach: Are you going to… this weekend?(板书) T: I’m going to have a party this Sunday because it is my son’s birthday.

3. Talk about “the

Party”

T: What does a party remind you? Ss: I often see/meet…at a party. T: Parties always remind us of balloons, flags, presents, friends and so on. Do you like parties? Ss: Yes, I do. T: So do our friends. Look, from English books, we know our friends had some parties. Look at these pictures, do you remember?
