教材分析

The emphasis of this period will be placed on the important words, expressions in the part of Cultural corner .To get the students to find out the fastest train in the

world ,the differences between it and the ordinary trains,

the advantages of the Maglev, and to develop the students’ speaking ability.

教学目标

1.知识目标

Get the students to learn, grasp and pronounce correctly the following important useful words and expressions in the part: downtown, vacuum, rail, ceremony, track, souvenir ，at a speed of 2.能力目标

1）Develop the students’ reading ability .

2)Enable students to know the fastest train in the world ,the differences between it and the ordinary trains, and the advantages of the Maglev.(通过学习让学生们了解世界上最快的车——磁悬浮列车，并且通过学习，可以清晰的表达出磁悬浮列车和普通火车的差异，体会高科技给生活带来的便捷) 3)Develop the students’ speaking ability. 3.情感目标：

1)Let students know the achievements that our country has made and make them love our motherland .（通过中国近些年来在交通上所取得的成就，增强学生们的爱国情怀和为之而奋斗的决心）

2) Develop students’ sense of learning and creating（创新思维，用努力去开拓未来）

三、教学重难点

重点the following important useful new words and expressions in the part: downtown, vacuum, rail, ceremony, track, souvenir ，at a speed of 难点

Understand the differences between the Maglev and the ordinary trains, and the advantages of the Maglev. And the students’ speaking ability.

四、学情分析

学生对磁悬浮列车不太熟悉。指导学生课前查询关于磁悬浮列车的资料，充

分利用工具书培养自学能力。学生对于自己设计未来了交通工具比较感兴趣，所以从他们的兴趣出发，在课前鼓励学生充分发挥自己的想象力，绘图设计未来交通工具，并表达出所设计交通工具的原理，培养学生的思维、表达能力。

精讲点拨；学生作品展示，创新拓展（课前了解磁悬浮，并设计未来交通工具来达成翻转课堂的实效）

六、教学过程

Step 1. Lead-in (音乐氛围铺垫）

播放音乐“从前慢”，由从前慢这首歌中“从前的日子变得很慢，车马邮件都慢，从前我们出行的交通工具，对所学交通工具进行复习，随着科技的发展，我们出行越来越便捷，引出磁悬浮列车。

Step 2. 用问答的形式推动

1)

T: Everyone, when we were at primary school, how did we go to school?

S:When we were at primary school, we went to school on foot 2)

T: Six years later, we went into junior high school, how did you attend school?

S：We always attended school by bike/bus. 3)

Now, if we stay at home, we don’t need to go outside, just order a taxi with DiDi and Uber, so it becomes more convenient for us to get around. 4)

T: In the past, if we would like to go to Beijing ,how did you get there?

S: perhaps , we will choose train, which takes us much time.

S: Now, we usually go to Beijing by plane, which only takes one hour and a half Step 3.

T: When I feel like having a long distance journey , I would choose one means of transport, which factor is the most important? S: If we choose plane as transport, it’s fast but expensive

If we choose train as a tool, it’s cheap but a bit slow

Step 4. T: Do you know, what is the fastest train in the world? Have you heard of it? S:The Maglev Step 5. T: OK, Now, let’s have a look at the Maglev, it’s the fastest train in the world

The Maglev, mag which means magnetically, lev means levitated. Now, before we read the passage, let’s get familiar with some words which appear in the passage New Words: Maglev 磁悬浮列车
