Pre-task:Brainstorming Ask students to bring out as many words about describing buildings as possible.(work in groups to collect the answers) Activity 1 Ask students to do EX 1 individually-which words they use to describe buildings. Then check the answers with the whole class.

Activity 2 Ask students to do Ex 2-read about the homes of Xiao Li. Then tell the other students which one is more similar to yours. 2.

Task finishing -Learn and retell the passage Activity 1

Fast reading Ask students to finish task 1 in the learning paper in 3 minutes with the following table.

教学反思

由于我教的是理科英语B层的学生，基础弱，词汇量少，导致阅读速度和捕捉信息的能力差；在任务时间的设置上还有待改良。

但总体来说，本节课的教学目标基本达成，小组合作的方式是本节课的亮点。
