Teaching procedure Step I. Lead-in (3mins)

Read the words in Unit 3 together.

The purpose of reading words and phrases in Unit 3 is to cheer them up.

Step II. Reading. (10mins) The purpose of this part of this step is to enable students to practise their reading skills and learn some words and phrases needed in writing the application letter.

Students go through Passage B on Page 125 and finish the four questions after it. (7mins). 2.
