一、教学目标
(一)语言知识目标:
1.100%的学生能够听说认读重点词汇:cross。 2.100%的学生能听、说、读“Go straight on!”“ Stop! Don’t go!”等祈使句。
(二)语言技能目标:
1.100%学生能够运用祈使句“Stop! Don’t go!”“Go straight on!”等祈使句谈论交通规则。
2.90%以上学生能用简单的英语组织思维,能在语境中听懂、说对、会读、会写本课重点词句。
(三)情感态度目标:
1.通过小组合作,培养学生的合作精神和竞争意识。
2.通过学习 go straight on ,turn left, turn right等词组为他人指路,培养学生助人为乐的情感。
二、教学重难点
(一)教学重点:
1.能听懂会说、理解并掌握句子:Stop! Don’t go! Go straight on. Don’t ride your bicycle here. Don’t walk. Turn left. Don’t turn right here. 2.学会运用句子Turn left./Turn right./Go straight on.来指路。
(二)教学难点:
能够灵活运用本单元的短语和句型,进行交际。
三、教学方法
(一)通过chant、图片等活跃课堂气氛。
(二)通过情景对话及跟读课文完成课文教授。
(三)通过小游戏等课堂活动来巩固练习。
四、教学过程
Step1. Warming up 1.Greetings.
T:Hello, boys and girls. Are you happy? I am so happy, because today is sunny. 2.Say a chant(Go straight on!)
T: Are you feeling cold? Ok. Let’s say a chant to make you warm. (设计意图:通过谈话,收拢学生注意力、放松学生心理,沟通情感,为和谐课堂奠基。通过生动活泼的chant,让学生边说边做,一是活跃课堂气氛,调动学生学习积极性;二是引出本节课的重点,为后面的学习做初步铺垫。)
3.Revision. Review the library rules in last unit. Show two pictures and let the students say what they are and know the following points. (设计意图:通过白板的
“思维导图”
功能,以“rules”为主线,展开复习和导入,让学生感知新课。在复习图书馆规定中,两张图片分别使用白板的“蒙层”功能,让学生先来看图猜,并使用白板的“橡皮”功能,将图片完整展示。)
Step 2.Leading in Let the students watch a video about traffic rules. Then show the picture of the traffic lights and let the students say what they are. Then teach: Stop at the red light. Go at the green light. Wait at the yellow light. (设计意图:使用白板的“多媒体”功能,让学生通过观看一个关于交通规则的视频,通过教授交通规则引出活动一的内容,为下面的新课做好铺垫。) Step 3. Presentation 1.Look, listen and say. Let the students watch a video, after that teach the new word“cross”.And make two phrases to let the students understand it. Importantly let the students learn these key sentences: “Please don’t cross. ”and “You can cross.”
(设计意图:使用白板的“多媒体”功能播放活动1的视频,让学生通过听读来学会两个重点句子,在教授新词过程中,通过大小声朗读和分人来读等来提高学生学习兴趣。)
2.Listen and read. (1)Listen and look at the traffic signs. T:Please watch the video and look the traffic signs carefully. (2)Listen and imitate. (3)Let the students read these sentences by themselves. (设计意图:使用白板的“多媒体”功能播放活动2课文动画,让学生听并认读交通标识和其意思。通过跟读和自己读,让学生充分理解并掌握新知。)
3.Play a game. T:I have some cards for you. Can you match the card with its correct meaning? Have a try, please. (设计意图:分别选八名学生上讲台,让其将交通标志贴于正确的句子下方并大声读出句子。通过让学生自己动手做游戏,让学生深刻理解并巩固新知。) Step 4. Practice 1.Group work: Look and say. T:Now I’ll show you some traffic signs. Please talk with your partners in four. Then come to the board and do the exercise. (设计意图:让学生通过四人小组讨论之后,上台将正确的交通标志与其意思进行配对。运用白板的“拖拽”功能,让学生自己动手拖拽,增强趣味性的同时,巩固本课的重点句型“Don’t…”)
2.Look at the map. Then give directions. Let the students make dialogue with these sentences. e.g. A: Excuse me. How can I get to the school?(Where is the school?) B: Turn right and go to White Street. Go straight on. Turn left at Red Street. The school is on your right. A: Thank you. T:Please do the activity with your partners in four. If you need help, please raise your hand. (设计意图:通过让学生四人小组练习,巩固运用本课句型来指路。使用白板的“书写”功能,让学生上台进行对话的同时,自己动手画出路线并用英语做讲解,提高学生语言运用能力以及活跃课堂气氛。)
Step 5.Extension 1.Make the class rules. Let the students look and choose the correct answers. Then read the rules together. (设计意图:运用白板的“课堂活动”功能,设计一个“超级分类”活动,让学生上台展示,不但巩固了祈使句“Please…”
和“Don’t…”的运用,而且通过游戏的方式制定班规,强化学生行为习惯的养成。)
Step 6. Summary 1. Summary T: What have you learnt today? Choose some students to give their ideas. Then read the sentences on the blackboard. (设计意图:先让学生自己来说一说本课的收获,然后全体学生读黑板上的重点词句,巩固所学知识。)
2.Emotional education According showing some pictures of the students who did the good job, let the students know our school rules. (设计意图:通过播放学生良好表现的图片,让学生了解我们的校训并且向学生灌输文明礼仪在心里的思想,强化学生的文明礼仪,做好情感教育。)
Step 7.Homework 1. Write the traffic signs on page 59 three times. 2. Write some school rules with “Please…”and “Don’t…”. At least four sentences. Step8. Blackboard-writing design.
Step9. Teaching reflection 本单元重点学习祈使句指示方向和路线,教育学生在日常生活中要严格遵守交通规则等。通过先讲解后听力训练,让学生在熟悉图片含义的同时再播放听力,完成课文第二部分的练***部分学生能快速领会教师意图,但在检查反馈过程中发现小部分学生不熟悉英文标语相对的图标。因此教师课堂话语仍
是今后学习的重点。
