通过学习课文中Daming收到奶奶寄来的什么礼物，进行听、说、读、写技能的语言实践活动并让学生学会用所学知识运用到生活中，后面的拓展活动设置了爱心义卖，让学生进行情景对话。同时在分析课文时向他们传播相关的文化背景知识，开阔他们的视野，增长知识和陶冶情操。鼓励学生学会礼貌接受礼物，关心别人，尊重感谢他人。
