一、教材分析

本课是新标准英语教材一年级起点第十册第四模块第二单元，My favorite season is spring. 需要学生用已学过的句型描述四季。其中句型My favorite …;I can…

是学生已经学习过的重点句型。在本模块中的目的是让学生用所学知识描述四季的特征。

二、学生分析

本单元的学习主要是运用功能句型描述你最喜欢的季节。学生在四年级的教材中已经学习过favourite 和I can的表达方法。五年级的学生已经具有了一定的自学能力和语言组织能力，但是在灵活应用上还有欠缺。本课主要是复习，巩固，提高和拓展的过程。要调动学生已有的知识储备，调动学生学习的积极性，为学生创设语言情境，以学生个体的实际情况和兴趣为出发点，为学生梳理知识，让学生系统掌握。

三、教学目标：

a.语言知识技能目标：

学生能够听、说、读、写单词spring, summer, autumn, winter, season；能够认读、表达和运用重点句My favourite

season is …. It’s …. I can …. ；

b.语言技能目标：

能够运用所学词汇、句子表达或描写出自己喜欢的季节及原因；能够正确朗读语篇、获取语篇的信息，在阅读的基础上进行仿写。

c.其他目标：

学生通过独立阅读、同伴阅读，提高自主探究、合作学习的能力；通过谈论喜欢的季节及原因，提高学生实际运用语言的能力；通过品读短文，感受四季之美，培养学生热爱生活，热爱大自然，积极乐观的生活情感态度。

四、教学重难点：

重点：进一步巩固有关季节的单词和句型spring, summer, autumn, winter, My favourite season is…It’s …. I can ….；指导学生在理解的基础上进行表达和仿写；

难点：运用所学知识谈论自己喜欢的季节及原因，并且能在生活中灵活运用。

五、教学过程：

Step 1：Warming-up Enjoy some pictures about seasons. T: Can you guess what will we talk about today? S: Seasons. Present “season” and teach the pronunciation.

pea, tea. sea, read, meat—ea—season Practice: let students read it one by one. 设计意图：利用一些季节的照片来引入话题，使学生们在轻松愉悦的氛围中开始学习。另外，用自然拼读法使学生对season一词的读音加深印象。

Step2: lead-in T: Do you know how many seasons in a year? S: Four T:What are they? S: Spring, summer, autumn, winter T: My favourite season is autumn.What’s your favourite season? Ask one student to answer it, and then let him or her ask the next student this question. And if possible, ask them the reasons. 设计意图：用两个简单的问题进一步引入season更多的信息，巩固四季的发音。追问学生喜欢某个季节的原因可以让老师检测学生现有的知识水平。

Step 3: Presentation T：Now let’s listen what Amy’s favourite season is. The first time: listen and answer Q1: What’s Amy’s favourite season?

S:It’s spring. T: What’s the weather like in spring? S: It’s warm. T: What can Amy do in spring?(看图回答问题) S: She can see ducks in the river. She can see flowers on the tree. The second time: Read and finish the mind map 让学生读完课文之后来仿照春天的思维导图，完成其他季节的。让学生自己来选择词条贴到黑板上。

设计意图：因为这篇课文对五年级的学生来说不算难，其中很多都是以前学过的知识，所以老师在用春天作为示范后，学生经过思考，应该可以去完成剩下的思维导图。教育学中提到，教学目标应该是学生在教师的帮助下，通过努力能达到的。）

Step4：Retell the passage (Pairwork) 1) My favourite season is_______. It’s______. There are _____ on the ______. I can see _____ in the river. 2)I love _______. It’s ______. I can wear______.

3)I love _____. It’s _______. The ______ fall from the trees. I can play with them. 4)I love_____. It’s ________. I can play with the ____. I can wear_____. 设计意图：有些学生可以用思维导图复述课文，但是有些后进生不能，这一部分设计就针对后进生，使他们能够按照给出的框架进行课文复述，这也是分层教学的一个体现。

Step 5: Group work T: Let’s have a brainstorming and four students in one group. You can say as many as you can. What can you do in spring/summer/autumn/winter? I can __________. 用图片补充短语fly a kite, eat ice-creams, have a picnic, go skiing.另外让学生进行Brainstorming,尽可能多的说出学过的短语。Like：play football/basketball, make a snowman, wear beautiful dress, eat moon cakes……

设计意图：以头脑风暴的形式来集思广益，继续补充短语，为之后的作文输出积累素材。

Step 6：Reading

Read the passage and then answer the questions. My favourite season There are four seasons in a year. They are spring, summer, autumn and winter. I like the four seasons, but my favourite season is summer. In summer, it’s always sunny and hot. I can swim. I can wear skirt. I can eat watermelons and ice-creams. And I can drink cold drinks in summer. I like summer best. What about you? Can you answer now? 1.

My favourite season is ____. A.spring B.summer C.autumm D.winter 2. It’s windy in summer. ( ) 3. Why does the writer like summer? 设计意图：这是基于课文的一个拔高训练，让学生在学会课文的同时，还掌握应该怎样去阅读此类文章。授人以鱼不如授人以渔。

Step 7：writing Write a composition about your favourite season. And then draw some pictures about this season. 设计意图：写作是这节课的输出部分，不同水平的学生可以有不同的参照，有的可以用思维导图，有的可以仿照书上的

句子，有的可以参考之前的阅读部分。这样，不同水平的学生都会在一定程度上得到提升。
