1.单元内容总体描述:本单元的话题是对比生活中过去和现在的变化,对比的同时复习一般过去时,并在次复现in the past和now在句子中在时态的使用方面的标志性作用。首先以四个人物过去和现在的生活对比引出话题,旨在复习并巩固一般过去时和一般现在时的用法,同时也出现了sweep, broom, sweeper, get in, digital camera等新词汇;然后根据课文出现的四个人物生活的变化,让同学们一起完成表格,通过这个活动检测学生对课文的理解和知识点的掌握和应用能力。接下来以The pappy farmer and his wife的故事加强学生对一般过去时的文章的阅读能力,阅读故事的同时培养学生不贪图富贵,知足常乐的生活态度。为了帮助学生有更清晰的思路来理解这个故事,紧随其后,教材编入了一个补全句子和补充句子的练习。在这个练习中既有现在时态也有过去时态,帮助学生理解课文的同时复习一般过去时。最后是做调查和语音的学习。调查的项目还是复习和巩固一般过去时和一般现在时在同一篇文章的混合使用。

1.一般现在时和一般过去时在一定语境中的混合使用。在教学中我主要通过让学生理解文章表达的内容,和标志性的表示时间的词汇来让学生辨别和理解。

西方寓言主要有四大类型:1、fable型:以伊索寓言为代表,大多是拟人化的动物故事。如:<狼和小羊>。fable这个词有寓言、童话、
神话的含
义。
2、Parable型:以《圣经》寓言为代表,大多是人物故事,富有宗教色彩。如:<浪子回头>。Parable这个词有寓言、比喻的含
义。
3、Allegory型:一种长篇的双重结构的文体。如:班扬的小说《天路历程》,斯宾塞的长诗《仙女王》。
4、morality plays型:具有寓意或道德教训的戏剧。如:德国戏剧家布莱希特(Bertolt Brecht) 的寓意剧。这四个类型概括起来,可以称为allegoric tale。而东亚“寓言”的词源来源于《庄子》。《庄子·寓言》:“寓言十九,藉外论之。”郭象的注解“十九”说:“十言而九见信。”可见,庄子认为寓言的特点是假借另外的事物以说明道理,寓言说理的成功率非常大。可惜,庄子没有强调寓言的故事性,以致古人把寓言理解得过于宽泛,甚至把寓言等同于一般的比喻或者抒发理想的作品。
