1. How to write a narrate essay?

To narrate is to tell a story, these are the basic elements of a story: SETUP (Paragraph1): Who are the characters? Where are they? PROBLEM (Paragraph1): When the characters have a problem, they must do something to solve it. ACTION (Paragraph2):

What do the characters do? PEAK (Paragraph3): This is where the action is at its highest point. CLOSE (Paragraph4): The characters finally solve their problem. LESSON (Paragraph4):The characters here say what they have learned. 2. A version of a narrate essay Swimming in Winter SETUP One day during the winter holiday, after a long and tiring examination, some friends and I were chatting about winter swimming. We talked a great deal about the topic. Suddenly I had an idea." Wouldn't it be fun and exciting if we went swimming? Others, especially some old people in our town, go swimming in winter, why can't we? What's more, winter swimming could do us a lot of good." I told them my idea, they all agreed with me heartily. So we had a good discussion about the swim and got well-prepared for it. ACTION The next afternoon, we biked to the riverbank where we often went fishing. Though the sky was clear and the sun was shining, it was still cold and it needed courage to swim in the cold water. We began to regret our decision and thought that we should go home, but none was willing to speak out, because we didn't want to be cowards and we knew we shouldn't be discouraged. So together we quickly t off our warm winter clothes.

PEAK But things did not go so smoothly as we had expected. The freeing wind made us shiver from head to toe. At last we decided to jump into the water. First we did a lot of exercise on the bank to warm up. Then I put one foot in the water to see how cold it was. I made a funny face at my friends. The water was unbelievably cold. Then I suggested that we had better jump in all together. Without any hesitation, we jumped into the water bravely. That feeling I had when I was in the water I shall never forget. We were all up immediately and rushed back to the bank. We put on our clothes as quickly as we could and went home, sneezing all the way. CLOSE

For the following days, we all suffered from a cold and were coughing day and night. we had to lie in bed. but we gained one thing from this unforgettable and interesting experience: We now know how particularly important it is for us students to build up our bodies.
