Section B (1a-2c) 【教学目标】

一、知识目标:

1. 能够掌握词汇:

free, cool, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday, useful, from, Mrs, finish, lesson, hour 2. 能够掌握句型:

—What’s your favorite subject? —My favorite subject is math. (2) —Why do you like math? —Because it’s interesting. (3) —When is the class?

—It’s on Monday. 二、能力目标:

1. 能够熟练掌握和运用表示星期的词汇和描述学科特点的形容词及其反义词。

2.能够熟练运用what, why, when等引导的特殊疑问句完成有关学科的讨论

三、情感目标:

增进同学之间的了解和友情,培养学生热爱学习和良好的学习、生活习惯。

【教学重点】

1. 学习表示星期的名词,并理解星期与日期的区别。

2. 能谈论他人所喜欢的科目及原因,询问课程的时间安排。

3. 谈论一周的课程安排,学会合理地安排自己的作息时间。

4. 阅读有关课程安排的短文,并能获得相关信息。

【教学步骤】

Step 1: Warm-up Play the videos (微课堂

我最喜欢的学科是科学(上)和微课堂

and review the key words and structures in the first two periods.

设计意图:通过让学生观看微课视频,复习本单元Section A 部分的重难点知识。为本节课做准备。

Step 2: Presentation 1. Present seven days of a week in order.

2. Present the description words on the screen. Ask Ss to remember them as quickly as possible. Have a brainstorm: Ask Ss to list as many description words as they can. The one who writes the most words is the winner.

设计意图:学习描述学科特点的形容词和表示星期的词汇,循序渐进,使学生更容易逐步展开后面的练习活动。

Step 3: Practice (1a, 1b, 1c) 1. 处理1a (1)Let Ss finish 1a. Match the words on the left with their opposites on the right. (2) Ask Ss to check answers in groups. (3) Check answers together. 2. 处理1b (1)Before listening: Let Ss read the words in 1a. (2) While listening: ①

Play the recording for the first time. Ss only listen. ②

Play the recording for the second time. Ss check the words they hear in 1a. ③

Check answers with Ss. 3. 处理1c (1)Let Ss look at 1c and teach Ss how to see a schedule. Remind Ss to pay attention to the activities and the time. (2) Play the recording for the third time. Ask Ss to circle the classes David talks about. (3) Check the answers.

设计意图:通过听的方式,引导学生在语境中感知模仿所学语言。通过巩固性的训练活动,帮助学生练习人称的转换。

4. 处理1d:

(1) Work in pairs. Talk about David’s favorite subject. Fill in the blanks. (2) Role-play the conversation. Ask some pairs to act it out in front of the class. (3) Ask Ss to talk about their favorite subjects.

Step 4: Practice more (2a, 2b, 2c)

1. 处理2a: (1)Let Ss use the description words to talk about subjects in groups. Example: I think music is relaxing. I think art is free and fun. I think science is difficult. (2) Ask Ss to finish 2a. Write a description word for each subject.

(3) Let Ss report the result in their group. Find out the favorite subject in the group and the subject(s) they don’t like.

2. 处理2b: Scanning: Ask Ss to read the letter quickly, underline the subjects Yu Mei likes and circle the subjects Yu Mei doesn’t like.

3. 处理2c: (1) Let Ss read 2b again and complete Yu Mei’s schedule.

(2)Let Ss read 2b for the third time and fill the description words in the blanks.

设计意图:通过略读、扫读等快速阅读策略引导学生学会搜索语篇关键句。

Step 5: Summary Explain language points in the passage.

设计意图:系统梳理讲解本堂课重难点知识。

Step 6: Production Let Ss do some exercises. Then T checks answers with the class. 设计意图:设计针对性练习,巩固学生对本课重点词汇和表达的掌握。

Step 7: Homework Write a short passage about your favorite school day. 设计意图:课后巩固。
