这是一堂很精彩的公开课！主要表现在以下几个方面：

首先，教师本身功底好，口语流利地道，指令清晰，教态大方，充满活力，激情四射。在整个教学过程中很好地引导学生完成了各个环节的教学任务，充分发挥了主导作用。

其次，整堂课气氛和谐活跃，师生双边活动充分。在老师的引导下，学生参与课堂活动相当积极踊跃。课后学生是带着满意的笑容走出课堂的，说明学生真正体会到了做学习主人及学习探究的成就感。

第三，本堂课的设计思路新颖，操作性强，充分体现了高效课堂自主学习的理念。课堂以奥运会精彩瞬间集锦视频引入，立马让学生对奥运会从情感上引起高度共鸣，接着以课文the Olympic Games的演讲者Mr.Johnson和他的语音为线索贯穿整个教学过程，牢牢抓住了学生的注意力，因此课堂很紧凑有序。

Careful reading 分两部分，

第一部分主要分析the Olympics的历史和意义，教材挖掘得好！第二部分主要介绍一些famous athletes, 这里设计的竞猜运动员和介绍自己喜欢的运动员两个活动都受学生欢迎，很科学合理！其中及时穿插刘翔夺冠视频让学生有感而发，这是情感价值的升华。Consolidation环节又是一大亮点，以竞赛形式通过各种题型对学生进行检测从而争夺金银铜牌很好激发了学生的参与积极性。最后的interview活动学生也开展得有声有色，把课堂推向最高潮。

最后，本堂课很好的利用多媒体技术，不仅课件技术含量高，

还多处巧用视频，音乐，录音，图片等为课堂添彩，并及时渲染给学生渗透情感价值教育，太棒了！

本堂课的唯一不足是时间有点紧，最后一个环节多用了两分钟，希望以后更合理的把握课堂时间。
