Warming up and revision

1. Let's chant. 2. Revision. 3. Show some clothes pictures on the screen, Let Ss practice the sentence structures：

—How much is this…？—It's…＝It is…

—How much are these…？—They're…＝They are…

Now ask and answer the prices of the clothes your partner wears.

Grammar Focus

1. Read the Grammar Focus after the teacher. Then read it yourself and translate the sentences into Chinese. 2. Recite the Grammar Focus.(For five minutes.) 3. Explain.(详见PPT) Step 3

Work on 3a

1. Now let's look at the words in the three boxes.

2. Can you make sentences in the chart with the words in the three boxes? You should pay attention to the singular or plural forms of the words. You can make five sentences.

Ss ask questions using the words in the boxes, and then write down the words in the chart. 3. Let some Ss read their questions. Then check the answers. 4. Let Ss say the rules.

(2)the/these/those＋表颜色的形容词＋复数可数名词

Work on 3b

1. Look at the pictures in 3b. They're nice things. Do you want to buy them? Suppose you are a salesperson and your partner wants to buy them. Make a conversation between you. 2. Now first ask and answer about the prices of the things in the pictures. Then write the sentences in the chart.

3. Then let some Ss read their questions and answers.

Work on 3c

1. Work with your partner. You look at the pictures in 3b for a minute and then close your book. Your partner asks you some questions and you try to answer them.
