教学目标：1.能在语境中运用What's this?It's a ... 来交流。2.能够能听、说、认、读dog, duck, bear, pig, cat等几种动物的名称。3.能听懂一些简单的指示语，并能按照指令模仿动物做出相应的动作. 教学重点：听、说、认、读dog, duck, bear, pig, cat等动物的名称. 教学难点：What’s this?It’s….并在实际生活中运用. 教学准备：教材相配套的教学课件；教材相配套的教学录音带，教学光盘等. 教学过程：

Step1 Warm-up 1.Free talk: Hello ,boys and girls,Welcome to my little class,Today we will learn unit4.First,let's enjoy a video. 2. A video: Old MacDonald T:It's sunny today ,let's go to the farm by bus . Ss: Great ! T:This is Old MacDonald.let's say hello to him . Ss:Hello ,Nice to meet you . T:Nice to meet you ,too.He has a big farm.What animals are there on the farm? Ss:...... 1

T：There are so many animals that he can't take care of them .So he wants some help.Who can help him? 3.Show Ss the rules:这是招聘广告，谁比较能干，完成了这些任务，谁就能获得“最佳农场小帮手”的奖状，让我们开始吧！

【设计意图】

说唱歌曲营造轻松愉快的英语氛围，导入情景通过头脑风暴——看农夫照片想农夫农场的有什么，激活已有生活体验，听轻松愉快的歌曲，带着任务找出农场上的动物，竞选农场小帮手更是激发孩子们的兴趣，同时为教授新单词做好铺垫。，

Step 2 Presentation 1.

教学cat

T: Let's begin our task1 ,Listen to the sound and guess .What's this?(课件出示猫叫的声音，用声音引出cat) S1: It's a cat . T: Can you spell it ?

S1: c-a-t cat .生听录音并跟读

T: Good. This is a cat .师示范cat 的拼读顺序

c-c /k/ -/k/, a-a /æ/ -/æ/ , t-t /t/- /t/ . c-a,c-a /kæ/ ,c-a-t/kæt/学生跟读，感受音节的拆读规则和教学单词的发音与拼读.师接着出示另外四个单词. T:Can you spell them?

S3:It's a cat. T:(课件出示男孩的图片)Look at the boy. Ss:He is fat ,Is the cat fat?( 用手做动作引导学生说出fat 的意思) T:Let's say it together . Ss:Look at the cat .It is fat 2.

教学pig T: Please listen to the sound and guess .What's this?(课件出示猪叫的声音，用声音引出pig，)

Ss: p-i-g pig .生听录音并跟读

T: Good. It's a pig .师范pig 的发音p-p /p/ -/p/, i-i /ɪ/ -/ɪ/ , g-g /g/- /g/. p-i,p-i /pɪ / ,p-i-g/pɪ g/学生跟读，感受音节的拆读规则和教学单词的发音与拼读。（大小声的师接着出示另外四个单词. T: let's spell them?

b-b /b/ -/b/, bear/beə/学生跟读，感受音节的拆读规则和教学单词的发音与拼读.师接着出示另外四个单词. T：Can you spell ?

T:(课件出示熊的图片)What's this? S3:It's a bear. T:(课件出示雪梨的图片)What's this? Ss:It is a pear. T:Where is the bear. Ss:It's on the pear. Ss:Look at the pig .It's on the pear. 6.Read the sentences one by one. 7.师再次播放chant, 学生跟唱。

【设计意图】进入闯关游戏第一关,教师在教授新词的过程中，通过图片渗透let's chant的内容，如Is the pig big? Is the cat fat? Where is the dog? It's on the log.并有意识地通过动作表情等帮助学生理解chant的内容。通过在教授单词的过程中渗透韵律诗的含义，通过节奏轻快的节奏，提高歌曲的理解和词汇的上口。单词的拼读练习有助于巩固26个字母,音标的带读和拼读，有助于学生掌握发音规律，强化记忆。

S2:It's a .... 设计意图：进入闯关游戏第二关，教师让孩子们帮助老麦克唐纳找失散的动物，检查学生对动物的一些特征了解，如一只鸭子应该有两个脚印等，拓展孩子们的知识,练习了What’s this?It’s a ....句型。又通过送小动物们回家，再次练习了新授单词，加深了记忆。整个环节充满了趣味性。

Step 4 consolidation and extension 1.

活动方式：天黑了，带小动物想自己居住的房子。最后齐读单词。
