.教材分析和学情分析:

本节课教学内容The journey of Little Water Drop为牛津英语五年级上册第四模块第11单元第三课时。五年级的学生已经具备了一定的英语基础,学习能力和思维能力也在不断提高。牛津英语5A第四模块The nature world在话题上侧重自然科普知识,趣味性相对较弱。学生在上个单元中学习了自然现象“风”的相关知识。本单元话题“水”,通过学习让学生了解水在不同场合的用途和关于水的循环过程,了解水对人类的重要性,从而养成节约用水,保护环境的良好习惯。本节课中将在复习环节对重点句型We use water to…进行操练,然后通过提出We can save water by...的课下拓展任务,培养学生的实际语言运用能力和思维能力,以求语言学习的递进,达到良好的教学效果。本课时通过小水滴旅行的故事让学生认识水循环的过程,文中涉及到一些新单词和词组的运用,通过创设具体语言情境引导学生感知理解,感受英语语言的魅力和英语学习的乐趣。

二.教学目标

1.语言知识

理解并运用词汇up, down, shine, fly over, ground 阅读故事《小水滴的旅行》,了解水的循环过程并用英语简单复述

2.能力目标

通过阅读,培养和训练学生的阅读理解能力和思维能力

3.情感态度

认识水的重要性,增强自然环境保护意识,注意保护水源、节约用水

三.教学重点

能简单叙述小水滴的“旅行经历”并通过阅读进一步熟悉理解水循环过程

四.教学难点

词汇up, down, shine, fly over, ground在实际语言环境中的运用

七.教学过程

1. Warm-up

(1)Introduce the teacher and greet each other (2)Watch a video about “Water”

(设计意图: 欢快的音乐,有趣的画面,创设轻松的语言环境,导入本课主题”水”) 2. Revision

(1)T: How do we use water? Let the students give their answers (2)

T: Water is so important to us. We must save water.But how can we save water?Find some ways after class and try to do it in our daily life.

(设计意图:讨论水的用途,巩固上节课重点句型;介绍3.22是世界水日.提出如何节约用水的课下拓展任务,增强求知欲,体现语言的交际功能) 3. Presentation

(1)Meet a friend “Little Water Drop”
