教 学 过 程Teaching Procedures

Step 1. Pre-reading, 课前播放动画（We are going green）

1.Guess the riddle：

Let’s play a guessing game.There is some air. There are many rivers on it. There are also many trees on it. There is some rubbish on it.

T:What is it? Ss: It’s Earth. (带读生词earth)

2. Try to say T: The Earth was beautiful before. But now is it beautiful？

T: What’s wrong with the Earth？（请学生先用中文表达用there be 句型说一说）

展示干旱、砍伐森林、汽车拥堵、白色污染的图片

S1: There is not too much.(学习too much：a. also b. a lot of) S2: There are not too many trees.

S3: There are too many cars. S4: There is too much plastic.(教读plastic，通过图片学习意思) T: It faces so many problems, so how should we protect the Earth?(边教读protect边板书课题）

protect the Earth(让学生打开课本) Step 2 .While-reading, 1.Scan and find：open your books , read the story quickly and try to find the four titles.

Can you find them? Save water（学习save）. Save energy(学习生词energy，There are two kinds of energy:coal，oil). Save trees. Don’t use too much plastic. 2.Skim and write

From our book, to protect the Earth, what should we do?(turn your books to P70,Please finish the exercise完成书70页练习) Learning tips: (1).读题中的句子。

(2).根据题目在文中找出关键词并填空。

(3).试着读一读，小组互相学习。

完成后，学生读出答案，全班核对，学习生词reuse，waste，glass

3.Read and answer T: We know how to protect the Earth，but why do we save water?

Read the first part and underline: Why do we save water?

学生发散思维回答，接着展示刷牙、浇花、拖地、做饭的图片

学生操练句型：We use water to… . 4. Try to think T: Water can help us do many things,but in many places, there is not much water. Look at these pictures,.So we should save and reuse it. So what should or shouldn’t we do?
