一、教学目标

1.能通过联想、迁移、构词法等学习策略初步掌握过去式：go—went, visit-visited, see-saw, pick-picked, catch-caught, eat-ate及词汇：bund, museum. National Day

2.能在具体的情景中运用句型：Where did you go for the holiday?? What did you do? Did you …? 提问并用过去式结构回答。并运用这些句型就节日话题与他人交流。

3.能模仿课文录音，增强英语语感。

4.能尝试运用英语描述发生在过去的行为。

5.能借助图片和文字听懂、读懂和朗读课文。

二、教学重点

1. 学生能借助动画，图片，录音等素材，完成教师布置的任务，从而达到理解课文。

2.通过不同形式的朗读、学生能用正确的语音语调朗读故事。

三、教学难点

1.尝试仿照故事口头描述过去发生的事情。

Step1.Warming-up

揭题。I think we had a lot of fun from the holidays. Today we’ll talk about “Holiday Fun”.读题。

Lead in T: Today we’ll talk about the fun of the National Day holiday.

理解National Day，

the National Day holiday和after the National Day holiday，并教这些词汇。

学习引言部分。点拨came-come，训练朗读引言部分。

Step2 Presentation and practice 1.整体理解watch and tick. T：Where did they go? Let’s watch the cartoon.

Liu Tao’s holiday T: LiuTao went to Shanghai. Did you go to Shanghai before? What do you think of Shanghai? What did Liu Tao do in Shanghai? Read and find.. ⑴He visited his aunt. (Where does his aunt live?)

⑵He went to the Bund.(Teach and introduce: the Bund)

⑶He visited the Shanghai Museum. (He saw many interesting things.) 指导朗读P24。

Think and talk. Try to say Liu Tao’s holiday according the card. How was Liu Tao’s holiday? Then, what about Mike’s holiday.

Mike’s holiday T：What about Mike? Did Mike have a fun holiday, too? Look at the pictures and answer. Q1: What did Mike do on the farm? S: He picked some oranges and went fishing. Q2: Did Mike catch a big fish? S:Yes, he did.He caught a big fish! ( 注意指导caught发音) Read P25. T:

Any other fun? 文中还有哪些好玩的事情？Work in groups. 注意文章开头和结尾。

S:

Mike caught a big fish. He wanted to give the fish to Liu Tao. But Liu Tao was not at home. So he ate the fish.

T：总结

What a pity. But never mind. I think Mike will give a fish next time. 指导朗读开头和结尾。
