教学目标

1.能会读、会拼课文中出现的新单词和短语:National , holiday, Bund ,Palace Museum,call,star.

2.能了解课文的主要内容和大意,并理解过去时的运用。

3.能理解课文中出现的主要句型:Where did you go ? What did you do ?及其回答。

2学情分析

假期生活是学生们乐于讨论的话题之一。本单元涉及两个重点句型Where did you go ?和What did you do?和过去时时态。过去时时态在前两个单元都学过,孩子对这个时态并不陌生,所以时态的学习和理解并不难。课文内容结合生活实际,情景化,生活化,利于孩子理解课文。

重点:1.能会读、拼读新单词和短语National , holiday, Bund ,Palace Museum,call,star. 2.能理解课文大意和朗读课文。3.能理解课文中出现的主要句型:Where did you go ? What did you do ?及其回答。

活动1【导入】stepII：Free talk

~1. Know more about the teacher

T: Today I’m your English teacher. I’m tall. I have big eyes. I have a big mouth. Would you like to know more about me? Ss: Yes. T: Now Let’s play a guessing game. I’m Miss Yuan. What’s my English name? Can you guess? (Helen, May, Lily…) Ss: … T:What color do I like? Can you guess? Ss: … T: Bingo. I like red. Red means passion. T: What’s my favorite fruit? S: … T: Maybe. I like another fruit best. They’re oranges. T: Which food do I like? Ss: … T: Right. It’s delicious. At weekends I often go fishing with my family. T: What’s my hobby? S: singing/dancing/swimming/going shopping… T: Yes, almost every woman likes going shopping. And I like travelling, too. T:Last National Day holiday, I went to Shanghai with my family. We saw many interesting things there. We had a lot of fun. Today let’s share our holiday fun together. Let’s learn a new unit -Unit 3 Holiday fun

活动2【讲授】StepIII：Presentation

~1. Look and guess T: Just now we talked about our National Day holiday. Mike and Liu Tao are talking about their holiday, too. Look at the pictures. Where did they go for the holiday? Just guess. 【设计意图】读前预测让学生进行合理想象,有助于发展学生的思维和想象能力,激发学生的好奇心,诱发学生想进一步了解文章内容的欲望。

S1: Liu Tao went to.. S2: Mike went to … 2. Watch and answer T: Right or wrong? Let’s watch the cartoon and find the answers. T:From the cartoon,We know where they went. S4:Mike went to a farm. 【设计意图】学生带着问题听故事,去整体感知课文并核对答案。在带着问题听的过程中对自己预测进行检验,在听的过程中提高整体感知语篇的能力。

活动3【活动】StepIV：Consolidation

~1. More questions:

T: In the text, Mike asks Liu Tao some questions about his National Day holiday. And Liu Tao asks Mike some questions too. Do you have another questions about their National Day holiday? Ss: Did Mike eat a lot of nice food? How many oranges did Mike pick? Were there any pigs? … Ss: Were there any people near the Bund? Where did Liu Tao’s aunt live? What’ s in the Shanghai Mueseum?

2. Fill in the blanks

3.During National Day holiday, we can do many things. We can sing songs about our motherland. We can make a performance. We can help some old people. We can talk about some interesting things with them. We can make our National Day holiday meaningful and share happiness with them.
