教学过程：

一

导入：

1 课前让学生欣赏澳大利亚的宣传片

(Before our lesson, let’s enjoy a video. It’s about an interesting country. ) 2 出示视频截图，

引出课题及国名。

（It showed us an interesting country, What is it ?）

Ss回答，引出“Australia”，

T指着黑板一侧贴着的六个国旗，请Ss找到澳大利亚的国旗。

Which is Australian flag ,who can find it ?）

3 揭题

（So today, we’ll learn about Australia, an interesting country ）

T板书课题

二

预习反馈，了解查找方式。

1 出示P58的图片及课文引言部分

The children will learn about Australia ,too. They want to find out about this country before the lessons. ）

出示find out 的含义，Ss理解。

2 预习反馈，初步感知课文。

（According to your homework，tell me，What will they do to find

out about Australia ?）

出示四幅小图，但孩子的脸部遮挡起来，让Ss根据预习情况进行反馈，出示提示句型：“… will…”教学will (You can report like this) （1）

先于自己的同桌相互交流一下

汇报（T在Ss回答之后询问why？引出并教学send）

出示全图，（Are you right ?）

3 听录音，圈出刘涛的查询结果

自己读课文一遍-----四人小组合作，根据小组拿到的卡片上的提示词，在书上找的相应的句子，划下来，并完成填空。A负责划下文中相应句型，B负责写，C负责检查，D负责汇报。

出示要求：

Cities :

Sydney is a big city in Australia, it’s beautiful. 教学Sydney Animals: Kangaroos and koalas live in Australia, they’re very lovely. Sports: Sport-lovers will like Australian football games, because it’s exciting.

people in Australia welcome visitors, they are friendly / nice.

T将板书的最后一块“…”贴到黑板上，形成澳大利亚的地图。
