The third period

教学内容Go up the ladders. Go down the snakes. Look and write. Sing a song教学目标及要求

1. 能根据图片正确说英语单词、短语和句子，并运用到实际生活中去。

2. 能正确拼读Look and write.中的单词，并体会元音字母在闭音节单词中的发音。

3. 会唱英文歌曲“Short vowel song”，并能替换其他四组单词。

4. 激发学生的学习兴趣，让学生在游戏中感知，在任务中完成交际活动，培养学生的语言运用能力。

教学重点和难点

重点：综合复习学过的英语知识，能根据文中的图片进行交际问答。

难点：掌握元音字母在闭音节单词中的发音。

教学准备：录音机、磁带、课件

Step1 Warming up & Revision 1. Sing a song: “Where’s the thumb?”

复习句型：Where’s….？也为学习本课歌曲作铺垫

2. Review the words Show the fruits, animals, numbers and so on, read them as quickly as you can. (复习所有的单词) 3. Act the story out

小组自荐上台表演read aloud部分的小故事

Step2 Presentation & Practice 1. Go up the ladders. Go down the snakes.

1） Show the wall map of page 68. Understand the content of the pictures. Use the sentence: Where’s the ball? It’s in the box.How many pear do you see? … Then, play the game.

同桌两人合作，利用身边的物品或者自制图片，进行自由问答。

3）

教师将书第68页教学图片放大，展示在大屏幕，用自制的骰子和学生一起玩游戏，分成男女生两组，轮流掷骰子，按照数字走，遇到梯子就沿着爬上去，遇到蛇就沿着蛇形滑下来，到哪幅图片，就停下来，说出关于此

图片的句子或短语。先到者为胜。

2. According to the picture, talk about them. Step3 Extension & Consolidation

1. Interview your partner 1) Use the sentences to ask: How many… do you see / have?

Where is the …? Do you like…?

2) 将学生分成7组，一竖列为一组，每个同学选择一个问句，然后在组内进行关于学习用品的访问。要求每次提问的内容不能相同，至少要访问三名以上的同学，如：

How many pencils/ rulers/ books …do you have?

2. Look and write 1) Show the letters and pictures. Hide the vowel letter, according to the picture, write down the lost letter.

2) Finish the “Look and write” on page 69.

3. Sing a song. 1) Listen to the tape, learn the song: short vowel song. 2) According to rhyme. Use e, i, o u instead “a”. use the words red, pen; big, pig; hot, dog; fun, duck 3) 把学生分成5组，分别为a, e, i, o, o组，让学生进行表演竞赛唱，如：

e组：Where is short e? Where is short e? Here I am. Here I am.

I’m in a red pen. I’m in a red pen.

Here I am. Here I am. 4. Have a test 1) 选出对应的答语

（ ）① Do you like oranges? A. I’m from China. （ ）② How many birds do you see? B. It’s in the box.

（ ）③ Where’s the cap? C. I see seven. （ ）④ Where are you from? D. She’s my grandma.

（ ）⑤ Who’s she? E. No, I don’t.
