教学对象为初一新生，他们可爱而活泼，有着强烈的求知欲，对于一切新知识都有很强烈的好奇心。但在英语写作能力方面有很大的欠缺，他们不了解写作的流程，不知道如何从课本范文中汲取对他们写作有用的知识，而只是普遍认为英语写作很枯燥，仅仅就是机械的汉译英的过程，并没有体验自主构思和创作带来的快乐和成就感。因此，应结合学生的实际情况，因材施教，让学生主动学习，学有所获，享受自主创作的乐趣。

教学目标

Teaching procedures: Step 1.Lead-in with free talk The teacher ask the students some questions with the pictures. 1.How do you feel if your friends leave you? 2.What will you do for them? The students ask the students some questions about the party. 1.Who shall we invite? 2.Which party shall we have? 3.Where shall we have the party? 4.When shall we have the party? 5.How can we get to the party? 通过对话，激发学生的兴趣，引入组织聚会和写邀请信话题。

Step 2. Questionnaire

Guide the students take some advice and answer those questions. 现场调查的方式，增加话题的真实性和趣味性；在向学生提出建议的同时让学生自主选择，寓教于乐。

Step3.Complete Daniel’s letter

Ask the students finish the letter according to the results of

the questionnaire. 让学生在完成的同时思考邀请信的基本形式

Guide them to finish the following 4 steps: 1.

Conception 2.Outline 3.Collecting

4. Writing Conception: Brainstorming about people, type, place, time, activities and route. Outline: Make an outline in groups Collecting: Collect some useful phrases and sentences for the writing. Writing:Finish their writings according to the knowledge they get 中心任务环节学生按照按照构思-提纲-搜集-写作的顺序逐步完成写作任务，体现了任务型的教学方法。学生按照自己的构思和理解能够完成自己创作的作文会有一种成功感，这样会增加他们写作的信心和兴趣。

Step6. Do writing assessments 1. Show them a chart about writing assessments. 2. Choose an invitation letter and make an assessment about it. 3.Guide them to do writing assessments as the teacher did. 学生通过对老师评改作文的观摩和学习，从而达到学会评改作文的目的，并且了解一套完整的作文评价体制。

Step7.Summary Guide the students to sum up what they learned. 通过总结本课所学知识，启发学生动脑思考学习本课能得到什么知识和道理，对本节课做升华性的总结。
