本课复习一些描述动作和人物的词汇，同时，又让学生学习一些新的修饰词和行为词汇。 2.

此年龄段的学生活泼好动、对新鲜事物感兴趣。教师要灵活采用多种教学形式，调动学生的求知欲。

本课的教学重点是掌握与运用men, women, children, people。

二、教学目标： 1.知识目标： 掌握单词：men, women, children, people, many；能运用所学知识用英语表达在火车上看到的、听到的事情。 2、能力目标：

能熟练掌握和识记本课单词：men, women, children, people, many；使学生能练习说、写相关名词的复数形式的句子。能灵活运用本课所学内容，对身边的人物进行描述。 3、情感目标： 培养良好的文化意识和英语语感，培养小组合作意识与互帮互助精神。

三、教学重难点： 重点：使学生掌握单词：men, women, children, people, many. 难点：学生能够正确运用句子：This is a ___. These are ___.并能够区分单、复数的区别。 四、教具准备：多媒体课件

六、教学过程： Step 1:Class opening and review 1、Greeting: T : Hello, boys and girls . Ss: Hello, teacher.教师由北京是中国的首都引出今天的课题，复习前面学到的知识。

2、Show the picture of “Tian’anmen Square” to the students. What’s this? This is Tian’anmen Square.Tian’anmen Square is in Beijing.Beijing is a beautiful city.There are many famous places in Beijing.Let’s go to Beijing by train. 3、Now, we’re on the train. What can you see on the train? Sept 2:New concept (一)part 1:New words 1、出示man图, Look at the picture. What can you see? (This is a man. ) 2、出示men图, Is this a man? (No, These are men. )How many men are there in the picture?(four men.) 拼读men.从音形区别man 与men.

3、出示woman图, Who is this? (This is a woman.) 4、出示women图, Is this a woman? (No, These are women. )How many women? (Five women.) 拼读women. 从音形区别woman 与women. 5、出示boy and girl图, This is a boy and a girl. Who is a boy? Stand up,please. Who is a girl? Stand up,please. Who is a child? (The boy is a child. The girl is a child,too. Boys and girls are children. )拼读children=child+ren.区别child 与children. 6、出示people图, Men, women and children are people.拼读people 7、利用黑板上的单词，将其men,women和children归纳为people一大类。 8、让学生领读单词，学生们每个人都跃跃欲试想取得领读的机会，比起以往指明读更能吸引所有学生的注意力，学生的竞赛意识更加强烈，更能增强领读效果，因为孩子们都能认真倾听别人的回答，最后评出最佳领读员。

Practice: (1)教师出示图片1，问：What can you see in this picture?引导学生说：I see a girl .教师接着问：What is she doing?She is flying a kite./A child is flying a kite. (2)教师出示图片2，问：What can you see in this picture?引导学生说：I see three boys.教师问：What are they doing?They are playing football. (3)同样的方式练习后面几张图片。 4.Summary: 重点词汇：people many child women men 重点句子：arrive in … There is/are … on one’s way to … be+ving表示现在进行时

5. Homework: (1)按照正确的语音、语调朗读并表演课文对话。 (2)同伴之间说一说自己曾经去旅游的情况。

(3)完成Let's do it! Look and match。
