一、教学内容:六年级下册Unit2 A magic day

More reading and writing

Great days 二、教学目标:

1、知识与技能:

(1)根据单词,读通读懂短文。

(2)理解短文内容,能够独自完成练习。

2、过程与方法:

学生通过自主学习,小组讨论交流,谈体会的方式,理解掌握短文内容,并完成老师设置的各项练习。

3、情感、态度与价值观:

通过学习中国载人航天的伟大成就,培养学生积极的生活态度,激发学生强烈的爱国热情。

三、教学重难点:

教学重点:根据单词,读通读懂短文。

教学难点:理解短文内容,能够独自完成练习。

四、教学过程:

Step 1:Warming up(热身)

1. Greetings

2. Sing a song: If you are happy. 【设计意图】(通过师生拍掌歌唱,营造活跃的学习氛围) Step 2:Presentation(呈现)

1.Lead in (导入)

October 1st is a great day. August 8th ,2008 was a great day. T:There are many great days in China. Today,let’s learn the new lesson Great days. 2. Pre-reading (读前活动)

1.Learn the words: space , spaceship , spaceman, spacewoman,travel.

T: Boys and girls,What’s this ?

Ss: It’s the space. T:Yes, it’s the space.The space is very beautiful,and the space is very very far away from us. Don’t worry.We go by the spaceship to the space.spaceship,repeat. Ss:Spaceship. T:This is Yang Liwei.He is a spaceman. Spaceman,repeat. Ss:spaceman. T:(Show the

picture of

Liu Yang) Who’s she? Ss:She is Liu Yang . T: Yes, She is Liu Yang . She is a spacewoman. She went to the space on Shenzhou 9. T: Look at these photos. The spacemen are traveling in the space.Are they great ?

Ss: Yes.They are great. T:Travel,Repeat. Ss:Travel.

T: Boys and girls.Do you want to know how the spaceship go to the space? Let’s watch a video. 【设计意图】(创设情境,让学生更直观掌握和理解单词,激发学生观看video的兴趣,同时扫除生词障碍,为学生理解课文做好铺垫。)

3.While-reading (读时活动)

(1).Watch the video.(播放火箭升空的视频) T:Wow!The space is so cool! Do you want to go to the space, too? Ss: Yes. T: OK. Now , let’s watch a video about the spaceships and the spacemen in China.and then answer my questions. (2).Play the video,and then answer the questions .

a. How many great days are there in the video? What are they? b. How many spaceships are there in the video? What are they? c. Who was the first spaceman in china ? (3).Read again and answer the questions on P27. (Exercise 2 on P27) a. Listen and repeat. b. Ss write down the answers. (4).Learn the new story and finish the tree of knowledge. T: Boys and girls. Liuyang was the first spacewoman in China. But she wasn’t the only spaceman on the spaceship Shenzhou 9.Now, let’s read the story of Shenzhou 9. a. Read the story of Shenzhou 9. b. Show the tree of knowledge. c. Ss read the stories and finish the tree of knowledge. 【设计意图】(对文本的改编,扩宽学生的知识与视野;由浅入深地讨论问题,层层递进地深入学习,不断发散学生的思维,为学生设计一棵知识树,把三个故事的知识点以思维导图的形式呈现,对知识点梳理巩固,形成一系列的知识网络。)

4. Post-reading (读后活动)

(1).Talking: Which spaceman do you like best? Why?

Give some time to Ss talk in the group , and then ask some individual students to share with Ss. (2).Look at the pictures , and write some sentences about each person.(Exercise 3 on P27) 【设计意图】通过讨论,提供学生运用语言的平台,在真实的语境中,将习得的知识与自己的真实感受有机整合在一起,并自主表达,提高学生的英语表达能力的同时,巩固知识。

Read the story fluently.
