本节课的教学设计主要依据英语新课标提出的合作学习的教学理念，鼓励学生通过体验、实践、讨论、合作、探究等方式，发展听、说、读的综合语言技能，创设各种合作学习的活动，互相学习，互相帮助，使学生认识自己学习的优势与不足，乐于与他人合作，养成和谐与健康向上的品格。 课堂教学的形式多种多样，然而合作学习是最好的课堂。合作学习方式符合学生乐于交往的心理需要，符合小学英语学科的交际的特点，有利于调动全体学生参与到学习中来，让每个学生都有发言的机会，发表自己见解的机会，是课堂教学中充分发挥学生主体作用的一种有效方法，有利于培养学生团结协作和社会交往的能力。
