Step1 Warming up 1. Look at the following pictures and think which film they are from? Have you ever seen the film Jurassic Park?

Why do people like this film? What animals do you see in the film? Are they real?

2. Do you like dinosaurs? Can you see them in our real life? Why? 3. Do you think it is possible to clone dinosaurs? If not, why? If yes, do you think that’s good for human beings? Why?

Step2 Reading Task1 Match the main idea with each paragraph. Paragraph1: introduce the topic of the passage. Paragraph2: explain the impossibility of cloning dinosaurs. Paragraph3:conclude that it’s just a dream. Task2 What is the writer’s attitude towards cloning the dinosaurs?

Discuss your opinion of cloning Cloning is useful because it could find a cure for illnesses that are presently incurable;

it means that endangered species can be preserved; it could help families who cannot have children of their own. It is a bad thing because

it might produce monsters; it might bring back to life creatures that might harm us;
