Comic strip & Welcome to the unit Teaching aims: 1. To learn some new words such as: ability, Super dog, fly, careful, collect, elderly. 2. To revise vocabulary about helping people in the community.

3. To generate ideas about ways to care for and help others. Importance and difficulty: 1. How to stimulate the students how to care about others and help 2. Talking about what people can do. Teaching steps: Step1 talk about superman and superdog 1. ask and answer some questions. (in order to let students know how to use can/be able to) What can a superman do? What can superman’s eyes do? What can superman’s ears do? What about superman’s legs and arms? 2. talk about Eddie Can Eddie be a superdog? Can he fly? 2. when answering the questions, they should master the new words and phrases. Believe it or not / look out. How cool! Step2 read and act 1.
