Step 2: Pre-listening

1.Show different kinds of books and try to ask students to describe

these subjects like interesting,fun. Assign the task of doing the exercises in 1a. 2.Instruct students about what they are going to do and play the recordings

3. Listen to the tape carefully and check the words they hear in 1a. Purpose: 本活动主要是为接下来的较难的听力任务输入关键词，提前让学生熟悉听力材料。

Step 3: While-listening

Today is Wednesday.We have English at 8:40 in the morning.Then we have math at 9:30.At 10:30 we have Chinese.And we have history at 11:20.At 12:20 we have lunch.Then we have a rest for t half an hour.At 2:00 we begin our afternoon class. Now let’s learn about David’s schedule. 2. Lead the students to go through the blank and understand how to get information from it. 3. Assign the task for students to circle the classes David talks about on this schedule. Purpose: 本活动是让学生学会在听力材料中获取所需要的信息，过滤一些不重要的信息。
