一．教材依据

这节课选取的是高中英语外研版必修1模块4（Writing）的一节课。

二．设计思想

首先在导入这一部分中，我让学生思考：假如你是一位导游，你要向游客介绍一个地方，你主要从哪几个方面介绍？很自然地引出本节课所要写作的话题。“How to describe a place？”其次，教师向学生介绍描写地理位置、人口、面积、历史、和旅游方面的句型。接下来，我们将进行一个猜谜语的游戏，调动学生的积极性，让学生通过观察图片猜测本节课所要描述的地方—西安，并通过图片观察，让学生用所学的词汇简单口头表述一下对西安的印象。然后给出写作任务，让学生明确写作步骤：1.审题与构思。2.核心词汇想周全。3.由词扩句雏形现（注意在组织句子的过程中时尽量使用非谓语动词，各类从句和结构）。4.过渡衔接连成篇。在这个环节中强调段落的组织以及连接词的合理正确使用，使文章更完美。课后作业仍然围绕这个话题，让学生写一篇介绍铜川的作文，达到学以致用的目的。最后课堂小结，让学生回顾一下写作的基本步骤，并指出写作中的主要问题。本节课是根据高一学生的现状，采用了写作课的最基本流程，先

审题，脑子确定写作所需的基本词汇，再从词汇到句子，由句子再到整篇文章，层层过渡，逐步升级，最后完成写作任务，让学生在完成基本的写作任务的同时并养成良好的写作习惯。

三．教学目标

b. Motivate students’ emotion to love the capital city, Xi’an. 4. Teaching tools: the multimedia and a blackboard 四．教学重点

1. Make good use of the expressions and sentences patterns to describe a place. 2. Make the students be familiar with how to introduce different aspects of a place. 3. Be clear about the writing thoughts.（写作思路）

五．教学难点

How to put link words, the non-finite verbs and all kinds of clauses into compositions to make their compositions perfect.

六．教学准备

Collect some information and pictures related to Xi’an and make them into PPT. ⑵

Divide the students into several groups and choose a group leader for every group.

七．教学过程

1. Teacher’s question: Suppose you are a guide to introduce a place to tourists, what subjects will you introduce?

2. Help the students to think of the possible answers. (population, area, history, places of interest, climate, location)

设计意图：让学生自然而然地考虑到描述一个地方应该从那几个方面去描述，为本节课的写作做好了铺垫。

Guessing game Activity1: Let the students look at some pictures and guess which city it is. Activity2: Let the students speak their first impressions to the city, such as beautiful, attractive, fascinating, modern, crowded and so on. 设计意图：让学生通过猜谜游戏自然地引出西安这个城市，既增加了学生的兴趣，又锻炼了学生的口语表达能力。

Writing task (Give the students some information about Xi’an and let them write a composition to describe the city.) First, the teacher leads the students to be clear about the writing thoughts. (写作思路)

structures and clauses .) 设计意图：让学生在学习的过程中培养合作探究的能力和团队合作意识。

Organize the whole composition using three paragraphs and add some link words if necessary. (过渡衔接连成篇) Activity4: Ask a student to show his/her composition on the blackboard. 设计意图：1.让学生展示自己本节课的学习成果。

2.让学生找出写作中的共性错误。

Activity5: The teacher helps the students to correct the mistakes in the composition.

Step5 Study the model composition 1.

Let the students read a model composition and pay attention to the underlined sentences and phrases. 2.

Let the students compare the model composition with their own compositions. Step6 Homework Let the students write another composition“Introduction of Tongchuan”according to some given information.

Conclusion

In this class, we mainly let the students learn how to introduce a

place and be clear about the writing thoughts. Most students can finish their compositions using the basic sentence patterns and some simple sentences but many students can’t use the non-finite verbs and all kinds of clauses flexibly to make their compositions perfect.

八．教学反思

本教案以新《课标》为标准，突出了以下几点：

１、充分发挥了多媒体课件对教学的辅助作用，为教学提供了便利：本节课通过课件将很多与西安城市相关的图片生动地展示给了学生, 激发了学生的想象力和观察力。

２、自主探究，合作交流，培养学生的探究能力和团队合作意识。

３、创设了宽松、民主的课堂氛围，使学生能够畅所欲言，充分讨论，在探究、争辩中提高其认知水平。

4、在“布置作业”这一环节，我不但使教学落到实处，而且也锻炼了学生的写作能力并激发学生热爱家乡的感情。

5、整个一节课贯穿了写作的基本步骤，由词到句，由句到篇，符合我们学生的基本现状。
