1.It’s key and important to use the description words and phrases like strict ,nervous ,amusing , avoid, admit, appreciate, respect, etc .to describe a person. 2.It’s difficulty to use the words and phrase to introduce a person correctly. Teaching steps Step I Greet and lead-in

Show pictures of some people to create a situation and get students to write down description words to describe the photos .Then share the words with the groups and the whole class. Step II Presentation Task 1. Get the students to complete the list of the vocabulary by themselves in the workbook and then check the word in their groups. Task2. Check the words with the whole class . The teacher adds some words the students can’t finish by themselves and points out the words they spell them incorrectly. Step III. Practice

Get the students to complete the sentences in EX.1 with the words given in the blanket on Page 5. Step IV. Phrases

Get students to work together to complete the phrases and then choose the phrases to complete the sentences below.

Step V.A competition
