Words in unit two

Teaching aims:

1. About knowledge

Students will be able to master the words:father,mother,grandfather,grandmother.

2. About skills

Students will be able to introduce their family members;

3. About affection

Students will be able to know about the basic information about themselves and others family member and make a good relationship with their family.

Teaching important points:

Students will be able to master the pronunciation of the new words.

Teaching difficult points:

1. Students will be able to grasp the usage of the new words.

Teaching methods:

Task-based language teaching, Audio-lingual method, Communicative approach and heuristic method.

Teaching aids: Pictures; word cards; multi-media. I. organization

T: class begin.

you will know how many people in my family at last. Look at the first photo, who’s she? Ss: mother. T: Yes, you’re right. This is my mother. Read after me “mother”. Pay attention to the pronunciation. So this is my? Ss: father. T:look at this photo. The two old man .who are they?

I think you don’t have the family photo now. so you can in this way.( draw the family members in own fingers, and show them to students). This is my father ,and this is my mother.
