【教学目标】

知识目标:

巩固本课重点单词：first second third fifth ninth twelfth twentieth thirtieth 和句型 When’s your birthday? It’s on 26th of September. 能力目标:

能正确运用本课的序数词来表示日期，能运用本课时的句型在真实情景中询问别人某件事情的日期。

情感目标: 能乐于模仿，敢于开口，积极主动地参加老师所组织的课堂活动，帮助学生树立良好的饮食习惯。并能运用所学句型进行对话表演和口语交际，激发学生学习英语的兴趣，培养学生的英语学习能力。

【教学重难点】

1、熟练运用本课的单词、句型去谈论日期。

2、序数词的用法及日期的表示方法。

【课前准备】

1、教具准备：多媒体教学课件，图片，贺卡。

2、板书准备：写好课题：Unit3 My birthday 【教学过程】

I、Lead in Enjoy the “ Happy birthday” song. Review the words we learned last class. II、Presentation

1、Use the sentences we learned to tell the date of different holidays. 2、Discuss what should Peter do to prepare a birthday party. 3、Show them the four steps. 4、Look at the cartoon of the text, explain the difficult points and read after the media, then complete the report and check. 5、Choose some students to make sentences in pairs with the new sentence pattern and show the results in front. III、Summary Today we have learned how to tell the date of one day,

“When’s … day? It’s on …”

IV、Homework Copy the text once.
