教材分析：

《牛津英语》是根据国家教育部颁发的《英语课程标准》以牛津大学出版社的原版教材为基础，由上海市中小学课程教材改革委员会改编的一套教材。本模块的话题是通过自己的感官来描述自己所看的、所听的和所感受的，本单元主要是描述通过自己的眼睛所看到的,描述生活中一天不同时段太阳的位置与事物影子的变化。本课时包括Listen and say, Look and learn 两部分内容。

设计理念：

多媒体教学，可以让学生更直观的看出一天中太阳和影子的位置变化，充分调动学生的观察和思维能力，培养学生学习英语的兴趣。

教学目标：

知识目标：学习词汇： evening、night、moon. 掌握“The sun rises in the morning. The shadow is long.”等描述性句子。

能力目标：学生通过观察、运用所学，描述太阳、影子在一天中的位置变化。

情感目标：激发学生热爱大自然，调动学生学习英语的兴趣。

教学重、难点：

一、重点：evening、night、moon 二、难点：能用一般现在时的动词第三人称单数描述太阳、影子在一天中的位置变化。

教学过程：

Step1：Warm up 1.

Lead in

PPT，白天的天空和夜晚的天空。

T: What’s this? Ss:天空

T：It’s the sky. What are in the sky? Ss: The sun, the moon and the stars. 2、The sun and the shadow. ①Show the sun in the morning.

Tell the students:“The sun rises in the morning.”(边演示边讲) ②用同样的方法讲述中午、下午的太阳和晚上的月亮位置变化。

At noon, the sun is high in the sky.

The sun goes down in the evening.

At night, the moon is high in the sky. 教授重点词：high、go down、noon、night、moon ③Show a house on the screen. 个性修改（手写）

1、Lead in S1:What’s this? S2:It’s the sun.

Let’s look.太阳在不同时间段的变化。

In the morning The sun rises. The shadow is long.

At noon The sun is high in the sky. The shadow is short

. In the evening The sun goes down. The shadow is long.

Then draw the house’s shadow.

讲述词汇: shadow

T: When is the shadow long ？

When is the shadow short? Ss：In the morning and evening, the shadow is long. At noon, the shadow is short.
