This unit is taken from PEP, Student’s Book 8 with the topic of “Where did you go?”.The diary of part B in this unit is about Wu Yifan’family, which close to student’s life. By watching, reading and thinking, students know that life is full of good things and bad things. 本课主要采用任务教学法，学生通过不同阅读策略理解日记、获取信息、回答问题。通过设计的各种活动激发学生的学习兴趣，鼓励学生积极参与，大胆尝试。

二、教学目标

1.知识目标：能够在图片的帮助下，预测故事的开端和进一步激活学生已有储备词汇及已具备的相关生活经验和背景知识。2.能力目标：能够通过不同阅读策略理解文本、捕捉不同类型信息，完成读后活动的任务；能够从阅读中学习有用的句型口头描述自己一天的活动，并能最终写出一篇小语段。3.情感目标：能够懂得凡事都有好坏两面，应该积极乐观，努力把坏事转化为好事。

三、教学重难点

培养学生阅读的不同策略，从而理解文本、捕捉不同类型的信息。以此获取到有用的句型能口述并写出小篇章。渗透事情都有两面，没有绝对的好事和坏事的观念，引导学生保持积极乐观的心态。

四、学习者特征分析

六年级的孩子学生效率高，合作能力较强，自主学习的能力强。掌握“口头描述”并能写出小语段，对六年级孩子有一定的难度，需要让学生运用掌握及储备词汇。
