The Panda Base 教学目标:1.通过对本篇文章的三个段落的阅读,理解文章大意。
2培养学生默读,精读,速读的方法,在阅读中查找关键信息的能力。

能听懂会说会读文的单词:bamboo, scientist, save, dying out,born at the same time, twins,work hard, take care of, giant. 4.
了解关于熊猫基地创立的背景和原因,教育学生爱护保护动物的意识。
教学重点:通过阅读从文章中获取关于熊猫基地的信息,理解文章大意。
教学难点:流利朗读文章,认读文章中的生单词。
教学过程:
Step 1: Warming up 1.
Ask students “What did you do this morning ?”

Guess :猜谜语,导入主角:Panda Step 1: Lead in 1.
Do you like pandas ? Because they are cute, lovely, and precious. 2.
Ask students something they know about the pandas. 3.
Teacher talk something about the pandas. Step 2: Presentation 1.
Students read the passage silently. 2.
Answer the question:Where is the pandas base ? 3.
Watch a video about the pandas . 4.
Read again : Who works in the Pandas Base?
What did the scientists do in the pandas base ?

Explain the word “ save “ .
6.
Read the second passage : Why did they want to save the pandas ? 7.
Explain the word “dying out “ with a picture.
