1、本单元重点需要学生掌握12月份的名称以及四季的名称。

要特别注意区分12月份的英文，不要把这些月份点弄混淆了；另外要特别注意January,February这两个发音较长的单词的读法，要让孩子们能准确读出来。

2、本单元有关询问和回答年龄和生日的功能句。

对于“when”这个单词的理解和运用一定要落到实处，让孩子知道这个单词的用法是对时间在进行提问。另外要特别注意：When is your

birthday? It’s January 12th.这个对话的理解和运用，需要孩子们在理解句型含义的基础上，使用新学习的12月份的单词进行实际的运用。

从大的方面来说，五年级的同学整体水平比较平均，学习气氛浓厚，大部分同学学习习惯良好，学习积极性高，能较好地完成学习任务。但不足的地方就是学习比较浮躁，两极分化的现象比较突出。不少同学在学习上好胜心强，乐于学习，勇于克服学习上的困难，思维活跃，有较好的学习习惯，有较有成效的学习方法；但也有不少同学厌倦学习，畏惧困难，或是学习方法不当，或是学习习惯较差，作业不能及时上交，书写不规范，积年累月，致使学习基础薄弱。课外，条件分析

我尝试改变形式单一乏味、机械练习较多的英语作业布置形式，而以趣味性、贴近生活的英语课外作业布置。这些学生有着极强的求知欲和表现欲。同时有部分孩子因为种种原因，学习的英语基础差，知识薄弱，学习起来比较吃力，但在学习方法和学习策略上还有很大差距，尤其在答题技巧和技能方面还缺少锻炼。因此在实施英语教学的过程中，我在教授学生新知的同时更重视对学生学习方法和答题技巧的培养。同时，培养学生养成良好的听、说、读、写等学习习惯，提高课堂教学效率。

It’s January 12th.本节教学目标是用主要句子提问和回答年龄和生日并掌握12月份的新单词。

重、难点是让学生能用“When is your birthday？

It’s January 12th”等句子介绍自己或者别人的生日。

首先我与学生进行了简单的对话。接着用谈论生日礼物的形式激发学生兴趣，同时也营造了浓郁的英语学习氛围

在把握重难点句型上我利用任务对话让学生掌握重点，当学生会用When is your birthday？

It’s January 12th时，我利用刚学过的三个月份的单词配合实际生活中的学生的生日进行的教学以此化解难点，水到渠成形象直观的帮学生排除了句型运用这一障碍。同时我还紧跟上了操练，使得对When is your birthday？

It’s January 12th难度系数降到最低。

在新授课环节：第一遍略读故事，设置了几个相关的问题，让学生带着这个简单的问题进行快速阅读，通过阅读了解连环画的大概内容，给学生自信。细读环节，设置并用课件呈现出了根据故事内容设置的问题，让学生理解课文主要内容和细节信息，给学生一些比较深度思维的问题检测理解程度，培养学生获取信息的能力。及时板书让学生把握重点句型。通过老师的讲授使孩子们对内容的进一步理解和掌握情况，阅读时要求学生对难点信息勾画，培养学生的合作学习的意识。

小组活动让学生利用本课所学语言进行对话活动，属于说的拓展。通过以上两个活动使学生熟练掌握所学知识。接着通过检测掌握学生情况。作业设置了回家把所学故事讲给家人得到了课下的延伸。

单本堂课也存在了一些不足之处：

一、环节与环节的过渡上还明显的不够好，语言不够精炼。

一些知识完全可以放手让学生自己去攫取，自己可以稍加引导或点拨即可。

二、对于能力强的学生和能力较弱的学生之间学习的分配还不是特别好，导致有部分学习能力较弱的孩子在后面的实际运用环节中，由于对六个地点单词和句型掌握的还不够熟练，所以实际对话操练还不是特别到位。

总之，缺点不少。但通过自己的亲身体验，确实也锻炼了自己。使自己的业务能力与教学水平直线上升。在以后的工作中，会再接再厉。
