Unit 4 What can you do?（第一课时）

1.Greetings.

T:Good morning ,boys and girls! How are you?

S:I’m fine ,thank you. How are you ?

T:I’m fine ,too.(OK, this class , let’s talk about Unit 4

WHAT CAN YOU DO？)

2.Warming up.

Let’s chant Dog ,dog ,what can you do?

I can run after you! Panda ,panda ,what can you do ?

I can eat so much bamboo. Mouse , mouse ,what can you do ?

I can hide in the shoe. Mike , Mike , what can you do ?

I can draw in the zoo.

3.Group Match（引入竞争机制）

Divide the students into two groups ,girls group and boys group.

if you can answer my questions correctly and actively ,I’ll give you a star. So, come on!

4.Lead-in and Presentation (1)T: Look at the pictures on the screen, They are so talent.

Right? Now look at me ,(教师做跳舞的动作)What can I do ? 引导学生回答：dance. (教师板书dance并教授读音) Let me sing a songs for you APPLE SONG 导入短语sing English songs . (教师板书sing English songs并教授读音) Introduce Jackie Chan to students,导入do kung fu. (教师板书do kung fu并教授读音) Show some cartoon pictures to students, 导入draw cartoons.(教师板书draw cartoons并教授读音)

(2)Invite the students to read the key words. words game: High and Low voice

(3)sentences teaching. T: So ,we can say like this: I can dance（板书）. OK, tell me ：what can you do?(板书) Teach the students read the key sentences. Then, invite some students to show them. Game: One ask and one answer & High and low voice.

5.Practice. (1) Listen to let’s learn and answer questions :What can Mike

do ?Listen carefully and I will ask some students to answer the questions and give stars.

(2) Sentences Practice: Bomb game. T:Ask and answer questions using the word and sentences on the blackboard. If you do the wrong ,there will be a BOMB to you ,if you do the right ,there will be a STAR to you.

6.Consolidation.( Finish Do a Survey) T:You guys really did a great job! Now let’s do a survey with your partners. What can they do ? You can make dialogues like this: What you do ? I can…

I will give you two minutes and

ask some groups come to the blackboard to show your dialogues. Review the knowledge on the blackboard.

7.Homework. (1)Read the words and sentences to your parents. (2)Make more dialogues with your classmates.

8、Summary and Emotional education. (1) Invite some students to tell what they learn in this class. Then let students read together.

(2) As we all know, we have lots of old people around us. They need our help very much, so just think about what can we do for the old people? You can answer my question next class.

9.Ending. T:Do you have a good time this class? Let’s sing a song to say goodbye. If you are happy ,clap your hands. If you are happy ,clap your hands. Goodbye boys and girls.

教学反思

What can you do？是人教版教材当中第四单元的内容，在语法上让学生初涉了情态动词can的用法。根据本节课以及小学生本身的特点，合理的设计了一些教学活动和游戏来帮助达到知识、能力和情感方面的教学目标。首先，在导入部分我用了与本节课相关联的动感chant，很自然的引入到本节课的主题上，让学生快速的融入新课学习；在呈现新知时运用动作、图片和听力等方法让学生感知新词汇，并采用不同的方式来学习核心句型。在练习部分让学生通过听、模仿，然后自己读、对话、角色扮演等方式来体会对话的内容。中间通过游戏来巩固新句型，学生的兴趣较高。最后拓展运用到实际生活能为老人做什么，目的是让学生将所学运用到生活实际，达到情感升华。

当然，在实际的教学中还需要注意以下两点：

1、在呈现新句型时，速度太快，没有及时的用其它的单词替换练习； 2、在练习部分，如果能灵活运用多媒体课件，课堂效果可能更好； 在以后教学中，要及时反思自己的教学，向优秀的老师学习，取长补短，使自己不断进步，具备良好的职业素养。
