教学目标：

1，复习单词：pig, bear, dog, cat, duck, bird, panda, monkey, tiger, elephant. 2，复习句型： ---What's this？---It's a/an... . ---What's that？---It's a/an... . 3，学习故事并表演故事。

4，学会爱护小动物，保护小动物。

教学重点：

教学方法：直观教学法，引导法，情景教学法，合作交流法。

教学过程：

Step 1：Warm up

1.Let’s sing : Old MacDonald Had a Farm What do you see in the video?引出课题We love animals。

T：Before our class, Let’s sing a song.OK? S:OK. T&S:... T:What do you see in the video? T&S:A cat. A dog. A duck. A cow. T: Do you like animals? S:Yes. T:OK.Today we continue learning :Unit 4 We love animals（Part C Story time)

Old MacDonald Had a Farm开始这节课，可以很好的活跃课堂气氛，调动学生的学习兴趣，让学生快速融入课堂氛围，为新知做好铺垫。）

S:It’s a duck. ... T:Yes. This is Miss Duck. And today Miss Duck will give you eggs. Four groups,Group1, Group2, Group3, Group4. One group，one egg. After class, let’s see which group can get the most eggs, so you can get a gift from me.OK? S:OK. Now, I will ask students to show their toy animals and ask more questions. T:OK.Show me your animals,boys and girls. S:Show. T:What’s that? (Pointing to a toy animal) S:It’s a bear.

T:What’s that? (Pointing to another toy animal) S:It’s a duck. ... T:What’s that? (Ask some students to answer and give eggs to the groups. ) S:It’s a ... . ... T:What’s this? S:It’s a rabbit.(Put the word card on the blackboard and teach the word.) T:Rabbit. Rabbit. S:Rabbit. Rabbit. Here,I will ask students to read the word group by group.And then practice the word by a game.At last, teach the word “carrot” in the same way.

(设计意图：复习本单元知识点，更加巩固旧知识，通过旧知识引出故事里的新词，可以让孩子们更好地接受新知识。）

Story time. T:OK.Boys and girls, all of you did a good job. Today we will study a story about the rabbit and the carrot.Look at my PPT,Who is he?(PPT shows Zoom and a house) S:Zoom.

T:Yes, and this is a new house. Zoom has a new house. Is it beautiful? S:Yes. T:So Zoom wants his friends to visit his house. Now let’s meet his friends.OK?(PPT shows his friends picture）

S:OK. T:Who is he? S:Pig. ... T:Wow,he has so many friends. He wants his friends to visit his house, so he says:“Follow me” ,what’s the meaning? S:跟着。

T:Right.Read after me:Follow me.(Put the words cards on the blackboard and teach the words) S:Follow me T:OK,boys and girls, guess, does he do it? Do you know? S:No,we don’t know. T:So now let’s go and have a look.OK? S:OK.(Play the story video) T:Does he do it? Why? S:No. Because Zip has a carrot and the rabbit likes carrots.(I will help students answer)

T:Yes.It’s so funny. Now let’s read after the tape.(Play the video again and teach the story)

(设计意图：通过创设新情境，Zoom有一个新房子，可以更好的激发学生想象力以及对故事的学习兴趣。跟读录音，让学生熟练故事，方便巩固练习时表演故事。）

Step 3：Practice 1.

Group work: Can you act out this story? I will give them 2minutes to prepare, and then let them come to the front and show their play. I will give the groups eggs. 2.

Play a video about protecting animals to them and educate them that we should love animals.

(设计意图：通过故事表演，活跃课堂气氛，巩固新学知识，激发学生对学习英语的兴趣。通过视频播放人类猎杀动物，教育学生要爱护动物保护动物，更加有号召力，可以很好地达到情感教育的目的。）
