本单元是复习巩固单元，旨在帮助学生进一步巩固和操练后三单元多学的主要内容。本课时“Read aloud”是通过情景对话式的故事形式将前面所学的句型自然地融合在一起，给学生提供了使用和操练句型的机会。

立足于整个单元，基于学生的已有知识，通过一个非常有吸引力的故事来将前面所学的句型等知识点自然地融合在一起，设置多个猜测式问题引导孩子们对故事进行遐想，同时在猜测过程中对动物、食物等第4、5、6单元的知识进行整合的复习。给孩子们思考的空间，表演的平台，学会运用语言，展示自我。
