the question form of There be structure and its answer,. The difficult one is touse them fluently. Teaching aids: CAI, word cards and some gifts. Teaching procedures: Step One : Warm –up and lead-in Play the song of Merry Christmas to warm up the atmosphere and lead into the topic :in a nature park. Step Two: Presentation Present the new words: river ,lake ,forest ,and go boating by showing the pictures. Use the structure: There is… to help them describe what they see.

Play an easy game :see and choose, using the key structures: Is there a …?

Yes, there is. / No, there isn’t. to make the Ss be familiar with them. Then , give more pictures to drill the structures. Step Three: Let’s try Show the task on the screen, make sure all the Ss understand its request. Then, play the tape of this part, once or twice, at last , check the answers with them. Step Four : Let’s talk Tell the Ss: “Miss White and her Ss are playing in the nature park. Let’s go and see.” Play the video of this part, showing a question first: Is there a lake? Get the Ss to watch and think about it.

Then , check the answer with the whole class ,and play the video again. get the Ss to follow it to read. Help if needed. Step Five: Drill and act out the dialogue. Get the Ss to work in groups to drill the dialogue. Then ,have some groups to act it out. At last ,get the Ss to make their own dialogue ,with the example showing on the screen. Step Six : Summary and homework First , show the Ss a series of photos of my family in a nature park , tell the Ss: love our nature , enjoy our life. So our

homework today is to do one thing which is good to our nature.
