Step 1: Warm-up 1. Sing a song: If you are happy. 2. Free talk. Step 2：Presentation 1.

PPT show a text and teacher says:” Cindy had a different weekend. Let’s see what did she do ?”

Leading the title of this lesson. 2. PPT show two questions: What did Linda do this weekend? What did Linda’s mother do this weekend?”

Guide the students to learn new phrases: Stayed at home, watered the flowers and cooked dinner. 3. Teacher show the phrase card: stayed at home, leading the students to read the phrase one by one. Then write a sentence on the blackboard: Did you stay at home? Guide the students to understand the meaning of this sentence. And answer the question: Yes ,I did./ No, I didn’t. 4. Learn the other phrases in the same way. 5. Practice: Talk with your partner with these sentences and phrases. 6. PPT show a picture. Create a situation that Linda and Xiao Hui are walking to school. They are talking about their weekend. 7. Leading the students to understand the meaning of the text. And keep learning the phrases: watched cartoons, cleaned the room and washed clothes by the way.
