教学内容分析

本节课主要以近几年部分高考阅读理解第二节的七选五为材料，并以文章开头段的段落发展方法（起、承、转、合）为重点，分析七选五这一部分题型的命题特点、阅读材料的文章特点、篇章结构以及解题方法和技巧，提高学生的阅读技能和解题技巧。

二、教学目标

1.Teaching goals:

To analyze the structure of the passage in Reading Comprehension Section II (selecting 5 from 7) to help the students improve their awareness of the structure of a passage, thus improving their reading skills in doing this part of reading comprehension in the NMET.

2. Ability Goals

Help the students analyze the structure of a passage and better their abilities in understanding the development of a passage and do better in reading comprehension “selecting 5 out of 7”. 二、

1.Main points:

To analyze the structure of an Exposition, focusing on its Introduction and Explanation.

2.Difficult points:

To help the students learn to analyze how the beginning, Introduction, is developed in an Exposition.

Ask questions to draw the students’

attention to Section II of the reading comprehension：

T: Do you find the second part of the reading comprehension in our NMET difficult but sometimes you don’t know why and how a correct answer is given? Let’s try to find out what is needed in doing this part well.

T: Yes, you are right. Let’s take a look at what has been tested all these recent years through the NMET materials. Step II. Analyze the structure of an Exposition

1.Introduce the structure of an exposition by studying the materials in the NMET;

T: So as we can conclude from these passages, there are often two types of writings that we meet in doing “

selecting 5 out of 7”: guidance exposition and descriptive exposition. But how are these passages developed? 2.focus on how the introduction part is developed T: Focus on how the Introduction part is developed by showing an example, and then do some exercises to help the students get a better understanding; 3.

Focus on the part of Explanation, also by giving examples and exercises; 4.

A brief look on the Summary part of an Exposition. Step III. Summary
