Step I. Warming Up

T shows the picture and asks students some questions to

attract the students’

attention quickly, and lead out the topic of this lesson, that is interview. Step II. Listening 1.

Pre-listening ①T: If you are going to have an interview with a famous person, what questions will you ask her?

②T: ask students to try to predict the answers to the

questions in activity 1. 2.

While-listening ①

Ask students to listen to the dialogue between Mary Lennon and the Interviewer. For the first time, get the main idea, and let them check the answers in Activity 1. For the second time, let them match the questions and answers in activity 2.

②Ask students to listen carefully, and complete the sentences.

Post-listening ①Ask students to retell the listening recording according to

the seven questions in activity 1. and invite one student to present it to the whole class. ②Ask students to make a role-play. Suppose you are working now at a radio station. You will have an interview with a pop star. Use the information you get from the listening as reference. Step III
